Thread Size For Vacuum Tap

I need to find a suitable tap to add a vacuum pipe into my inlet manifold, but first I need to know what size tap I need - so, does anyone know what the standard size fitment is for the screw-in vacuum connector on the inlet/injection manifold on pintos?

 

It looks to be in the region of 1/2" and possibly a non-metric NPT thread or something???

Let me know what size rubber hose you be running to your servo,then I will hopefully be able to supply a suitable union & the loan of the correct tap.

I was just going to use the standard vacuum tube that comes with the Sierra - I think it's 6mm - 1/4" I.D tube, but it already has a union on the end that I just unscrewed from the old inlet manifold.

Measure the major diameter (crest) of the threads & the number of crests per ?? length (in mm) & I'll work it out & get back to you,if that's any help.

I think I've got it sorted thanks, but I'll get back to you if it goes pear shaped
