If you haven't dicovered this range of saws yet they are amazing

I bought the circular saw a few months ago and aquired the mitre chop saw today.

They really do cut through anything.

just chopped some 50mm 3mm wall box section mild steel no burrs and you could touch the metal immediatly after cutting it was barely warm ! it will also cut any angle adjustable in 1deg increments.

 

Was using the circular saw for cutting aly sheet at the weekend.

 

think i,m going to start a locost now, cutting the chassis tubes will be so much easier.

can you just buy their discs and use them in your old circular saw?

B&Q sell the blades/discs according to their website. For some reason you need to be 21 to buy the 185mm one but you can have a 255mm one at 18

 

And the saw is £150-odd on Tesco' website.

machine mart / tesco are cheapest for the saws, the circular saw blade would be no good in a normal saw as the the rage saws only spin at 2500rpm where as most others are twice that +.

They claim you could cut 50m in 5mm plate on one blade so for the use i,m giving it they will last a while...
