Fuel Pipe Size On Weber Twin 40s

Can someone out there with weber twin 40's tell me either:

 

- The internal bore size of the pipe on the carbs where the fuel hose attaches to. (Two connections and a T piece? Carbs combined?)

 

or

 

- The minimum bore size of the pipe and fittings which they've used.

 

Fear not, I'm still EFi. I ask on behalf of someone else.

I've used 8mm fuel pipe on my Weber 45s.

Is that 8mm I/D, or 8mm O/D pipe with a 6mm bore?

I upgraded to 40s and have kept standard sierra fuel pump etc, the main copper pipe from the tank is 6mm id and 8mm od, return pipe is 4mm id and 6mm od. The hose on the carbs is 8mm id hence the 8mm od copper pipe from the tank,I've had no probs so far.
