Yes you might think so :(

Here is a list of decibel levels ( I pinched from somewhere else)

Near total silence - 0 dB

A whisper - 15 dB

Normal conversation - 60 dB

A lawnmower - 90 dB

A car horn - 110 dB

A rock concert or a jet engine - 120 dB

A gunshot or firecracker - 140 dB

And the level drops off with distance from the source

Two sound sources of 60dB heard at the same time will result in a level of 63 dB

HTH

Amongst all this wonderful work that Roberto at RS Jigtec is doing on your Vehicle, is he not fitting a 'new' exhaust & silencer? (if not, it's about the only thing he's not!) if he is, then surely he will guarantee that it will come below the required maximum limit?

Unfortunately if you are relying on the RHSC excuse for a silencer, then I am afraid that Tim & his 'BOB' will win by default! as you won't be allowed on the tarmac.

Ah! it's all right Andy! I've trolled throught the 3 million posts that you've made about this flippin' refit, and found it at number 11 on the hit parade, some 4" drain pipe and silencer, lets hope that he puts some stuffing in there! ;)
