Oxford Blue

can anyone put a pic up of a car painted in this color,as this is the color im having my car painted and have only seen this color inside a building not in natural sunlight

B, you still won't see it in natural sunlight unless you're screens portable.

there seems to be a problem here 2 cars ash and matt,both of you say its oxford blue but to me they look tottaly different colors,or is it me

Mine was painted to match the Oxford blue GRP (Grp was not painted) that was supplied with my kit in Dec 97 (I think) - When I gave the paint man the colour code that RH supllied it was no where near the colour fo the GRP so had it remade... that's all I can tell you

IMHO I think Mats is closer to Oxford blue,

If you've got any doubts ,buy a tin of Hammerite Oxford Blue,paint it on a

sheet of steel or whathavyou and make a comparison.

matt your looks nearest to what i was shown on a cycle wing inside rs jigtec

as blues go the MG ZR comes in a georguos electric blue ,once i've finished the few mods to the 2B(inc the GTE digi dash) I think i'll go for that!!!

As Ianz said, with the Hammerite Oxford blue, I used that to cover the internals etc. and it's about a 95% match... In bright light you could tell the difference only, and it wasn't as shiney either (of course!)

ash i like your idea of the gte dash,hope to see it someday
