Diff Filler Plug

does any one know what thread the diff filler plug is on the sierra diff? or anyware i can get a spare one? as mine is nackered

Sorry - Don't know, but if the thread is still OK, you can weld a bolt head onto the end???

cant remember if its a tapered thread but if it is take it to a plumbers merchant,they might have a similar gas thread stop end.

the thread is absolutley fine, the head is just absolutley fooked. if i cant find the thread or another one then it may resort to me welding a nut on! what do you think the chances of a ford dealership being able to source one for me are? (actually thats a silly question) looks like i will have to get the old thread gages and a zeus book out!

After a wee bit of searching i came up with this info Ford part no F6118746 described as a "plug - magnetic type" Cost approx £5.00.

Thread possibly M18 fine.
