Replacement Pinto Engine

Do i need to advise anyone of this modification?

depends who's car you are going to put it in and whether they know you are going to do it

 

DVLA will need to know the new engine number and you may want to tell your insurance if it is modified and not just a straight replacement of whats there. HTH

Getting the car back next Saturday , the old engine expired throwing oil all over the place, cylinder 4 shot and in quite a state, the Cornwall trip just about killed it.

 

However had a good Recon Pinto Engine fitted, looking forward to picking her up at the weekend.

Sorry to hear that the engine gave up. Hope the new one works out for you. Are you going to the Stafford show on 19th- 20th? If so I am planning to take the 2B down for a run?
