Did anyone see the new all alloy Pinto on the Burton Stand at the NEC last weekend? Saves about 35kg in weight over the standard cast iron engine. Yours for about £10k, but you can have the cylinder head on its own for £3k I asked them who they thought would buy them as they are no good for any of the race series that use Pintos. They said there are plenty of people that like to spend that sort of money on their road cars. Don't think many RH owners will be in the market though.

The alloy block mated to a Cosworth head, that could be good.

But yes why pay all that money when you could get a Duratec or a VAG 1.8 turbo fully fitted for a lot less
