Brake Bias ?

I,m mid way through converting my drum back end to disc of the people who have done this did you need or use a bias valve.

As it stands my car has always been over braked on the front and not enough on the back i'm trying to achive a good balance front to back.

Disc conversion has only occured due to changing diffs.

Is there some sort of contraption i could use to adjust front power and rear power ?

Thanks

Hi Dan ive got disc brakes on the rear ov my 2b plus without any bias valve and never had any problem with lockup it passed the s.v.a in 2005 with this set up and i am very happy with it. Some people seem to have trouble with disc rears so whether it depends on the master cylinder used im not sure .

Hth Bernie ;)

you can't really adjust front and rear unless you go the twin master cylinder route. I have a rear bias valve but it's wound down to no restriction at the moment. There has hardly been a dry day since i fitted the new rear brakes for me to test, but generally it's always been wound down to no restriction.
