That can be worked off easy enough. Just need to know what you need doing to it to clear the starter.

Not sure what needs to be taken off, and won't know until the job actually comes which will be probably Sept/Oct this year. It might be earlier if I get all the bits needed for the swap. I will leave the 4 speed in for now, unless I get a bargain 5 speed.

Nice to know though that you could do it, cheers.

I see Tiger are offering an all steel short sump ,it's pricey 190 quid I think but it might just be worth it HTH mowerman

Hi MM. I know they do a steel one for the Duratec. Is this the same one as the Zetec?

 

If so, you will still need to shorten the pickup.

 

If we do provide the service on Zetec, it will be about £125 for sump and Pipe shortening.

thats my pinto sump in the picture what a great job very neat welding [tig] first class job well done larry. highly recomended.if you have not shortened your sump its a mod worth doing.
