I am having a problem starting my Hood, when I turn the ignition the engine turns very slowly, its seemd to have got worse, I have charged the battery which is fairly new, is it a problem with the coil or starter motor?

Fully charge up the battery. Check the big cables and their connections, battery+ to starter, battery- to chassis, battery- to engine, engine to chassis. If all OK get a spanner on the crank pulley bolt and turn the engine over. Should be fairly free but you will feel resistance from compression. Try to start with the low tension leads removed from the coil. Slow? Probably starter. Normal? Probably ignition timing over advanced.

first thing I would do is to take the plugs out then spin it over,1 to get some oil pressure, 2 to clear the cylinders, if it's still sluggish check the engine /chassis earth lead, make sure it's making good contact at both ends, also check the connections on the starter motor
