Laura and I went to the caravan show in Manchester on Saturday. I was just getting to the point when you start wondering how many more combinations of white boxes on wheels, with varying shades of brown interior can you hop in and out of in one day, when something caught my eye.

Oh God, I thought, who has done that to a VW splitscreen campervan.

 

 

On closer inspection it turns out to be a full GRP body caravan moulded off a campervan. Very retro, but needs a pop-top to make it usable, otherwise you would spend all your time bent double, unless you are under 4 ft tall.

Its mentioned in February edition of Practical Classics. Apparently it was developed because a family of VW enthusiasts out-grew its original camper-van.
