with the right map and injectors these can pump out an easy 280bhp my mate has an exige s that has been done and set up on dyno. It is seriously quick! shave off 400kg by dropping in a zero and that would be beast and a half...

To tune a Duretec 2.3 to 280 ponies by someone like Raceline is 8k+ without the cost of the engine.

 

Mind you, I think that anything over about 200 is a waste.
