Vicky Green 2b Loom On Zero?

Abou to start a zero kit and aim to get the loom in early. Has anyone put a Vicky Green 2B loom in a Zero instead of the new one from GBS? I still intend to purchase the Zetec engine loom from GBS but hoping to save £400 on the chassis loom as I have a Vicky Green loom from (not installed) a previous car. Anyone forsee any problems? Thanks for your help.

you will have to mod that quite a lot, but all the basic circuits are there.

 

attachment to the Zetec engine loom is possible, but you will have to do some doctoring.

 

Really comes down to how happy are you with electrics.

Thanks, what do you think I will have to modify? Surely the lights and ignition circuits are all the same? I am happy to do electrics, just wanted to check that other than a few tweeks it wasn't going to be a complete show stopper

The basics will be the same and length not a problem, so your main issues will be the engine loom but sounds like you are confident go for it! I have just fittted old sierra loom to a zero took alot of time, extending, shortening and cutting a lot of stuff I didn't need out but everything is working OK. But then I enjoy the build not after any world records just fun.
