What Alternator Small As Poss

i,m after a really small alternator by small i mean in its physical diminsions, can any one recomend a tin top that might suit

Hi Dan,

Mine's a Denso one off a small Suzuki something - a little 3 door hatchback thing, sorry can't remember what model. The alternator is the same size as the one CBS sell but it's mounting bracket is different. Body is about 4" diameter and 5" long.

Cost me £10 from the scrappy - think CBS want about £100 for theirs but if you look on their website I think it shows a drawing with sizes on.

As above, just about any jap alternator, I had a Bedford rascal one, as above a tenner from a scrap yard, 20 quid to have it refurbed, send me a text tomorrow, I will pop round to a mate of mine see what he has
