2b Handling Upgread

had a few days off so i thought i would put the handling upgread and new cycle wings on the car.

drivers side went on like a treat till i placed the wings on the stays they dont fit more moding required

 

 

 

 

so i thought i will get the passenger side on, then think about sorting out the wings,

while screwing in the top ball joit it felt a bit stiff then it stopped, so unwound it and found it had scewed the thread .

 

dose any1 know what thead size it is looks like a M18 1.5 but my tap and die set dont go that big.

 

why is it never easy

Looks like my westy woes, moving the steering coloum up 2" resulted in new stalks new dash and a rewire ..... kit cars u gotta love em ! See u sat ?

Hi Owlman, Im just doing my upgrade to the suspension using "Old Timbo" setup, gone OK apart from you will have to alter your light fitting as it will fowl!

I am in process of fabricating new light brackets to accommodate my lights.

Can e mail you pictures of a car that had it done at Newark if you want.

I have driven the car since I have put the wishbones on and the front end has been transformed, it has some more compliant movement to it.
