2b Track Rod Ends

Hi all,

 

Does anyone know what type of track rod ends were used on the 2b as i need to get some new gaiters?

1 of the gaiters has split.

 

The ones i have were new from richard back in the day. are they sierra ones?

give GBS kit spares a ring or go to kitspares website. I would just change the end not the gaters

Split gaitors are an mot fail phillip

mine were sierra ones.. they have v shape tabs on one side off them...

If they are the translucent gaitors they turn to mush very quickly. My ball joints were still as new when this happened, so I just replaced the gaitors with these: EBay Link

mine are the ends with the 'V' tabs also.

Thanks for the link, those gaitors seem pretty universal and lots of fords in the compatability list. Will go for them.

Does it depend on the steering rack? My 2b04 has a sierra rack, john p had a metro on his 2B sliding pillar, do I remember escort on others?
