Rear Diffuser (Zero)

Hi

I eventually plan to add the GBS rear diffuser on my zero but as funds are running low towards the end of my build I intend to do it late. So my question regards the rear panel, it has two vertical side panels underneath to mount the diffuser to. Obviously these are sharp ali edges so will they have to be removed for IVA? If so I think Ill have to try and get the diffuser now

Throw the diffuser on now, it's dead easy, 2rivnuts on each of the side parts you mention and a bar across the back panel for the front to rivnut onto and your job done

Hammy. I have been told by the factory that you just need to apply some trim to these vertical panels so they pass the radius test. This is the line I am going to take as I am not sure if I want to fit the diffuser or not.

David, i know what you mean, but to be honest with you, comparing with and without, for me it has to have it on, really finishes the backend off nicely

only two small areas need trim, approx 2inch at either side, where the lower edge bends around to the sides. It is not necessary to do the whole edge of the diffuser mounts as they are under the car.

 

Diffuser does look nice though
