Help About Gearbox Mt75

Hi i need to know tonight, im scraping a v reg transit diesel i think these have a mt75 gearbox can any one tell me?

Most transits do but I'm sure one of the boys on here will verify properly

I'm no expert, but there's always a lot of "transit" MT75 gearboxes on ebay. From ebay pics, the innards are probably similar but casings (especially bellhousings) are different to Sierra MT75s. I think there are also "Mondeo" MT75s - which are different yet again.

take a look at the first motion transmissions web site. they've got a handy chart of ford gearboxes to help identify. like others have said the casings will differ from what you would get in a car
