Just increased my kit car insurance from build cover to full on the road cover (comprehensive - parts only).

 

Received new cover note from Frank Pickles, and checking the detail I read I am only covered for Social, Domestic & Pleasure. There is statement specifying 'Does not include travel to/from place of work'. (Maybe travelling to work can't be classed as Pleasure).

 

Quick call to them to enquire, and this apparently is normal for 'specialist' car cover. I confirmed I only have 1 place of work and got this cover included FOC, new cover note has been issued.

 

So, if you use your car to/from work, even occasionally, it would be worth checking to see that you are covered!!
