Sorry i havent replied sooner to this thread as i have been in the IOM doing the TT course, in a Transit Van

You dont need much experience to build a Super Spec,(the only thing i had ever changed was a light bulb ) all you need is common sense and a passion for what you are building, every thing else you need you can find here on this site, like motivation and advice etc.

I started building my Super Spec in October last year and i am nearing sva in a couple of weeks hopefully!!

There was more ready done on mine at the time of collection, but if you stick at it it will happen, dont rush it and cock things up!

I'm off to the factory in two weeks to have a look at the cars and order a super spec. Now I just need to decide of the extras!!

Go for it the super spec is now good value at its new lower price. i han only ever changed pluges ,oil and brake pads before I built my car last year.

Its great fun to do and even more to drive. The thrill of getting through the sva can only be matched to the first child being born.

Go for it. You have the best club and forum behind you as well.
