Chassis Size

hi all im thinking about what size van i will need for collecting my zero in a few months, and would greatly apreciate it if anyone could tell me the overall lengh of the chassis.

Can't remember the length exactly but I fetched mine in our works Merc Sprinter, it'll take 12' and the chassis fitted easily.

I used a long wheel based transit van more than enough space. Make sure that you take plenty of protection with you as you dont want to scratch any powder coating or the Gel coalting on the Cycle wings old sheets etc

thanks very much for all your replies i will make sure its a lwb van we take, and will take plenty of bubble rap and sheets thanks for the advice, hopefully i will get to meet some of you guys at the shows i will make sure to be at detling in april to look round some cars

I used a LWB transit type van which managed to get everything and engine in it as well. It was a dreadful thing to drive and had more dents in it than the Hitchikers Guide did !

 

I suppose I got my own back when the differential overturned in the back and dumped the oil everywhere !
