I was kind of gutted that I couldn't be there today as there was simply too much other stuff that got in the way.

Hopefully, there will be another track day there again this side of winter which I can get to :)

Looked like good fun too :( Oh well ...

Simon.

It may have been slow but at least it's going round a track ;)

Hey it wasn't slow at all

Oh and there was fuel in the tank, it just that the tank was in the back of the van.

Rob you were as quick as a lot and certainly quicker than some more practice is the answer ,yes I was sat on the side lines soaking up the sun and not running but you were not as bad as many in so called faster peices of kit and as trim as your other half is 2 up has got to be slower ! mower man

Another good day out at Blyton, saw a few wild passes being rewarded by the marshal with a verbal battering so they do not tolerate nonsense here. All in a had a great day but will opt for some tuition the next time as i cannot master the first lefthander out of the start/pit lane, either brake too late and i'm 4 wheel drifting into it or too slow and don't have enough speed for the long straight following......... only once or twice have i hit it properly and been 100% happy with it then fork it up the next lap :80:

GBS had a good day too by the looks of it with no incidents, but i would have liked to see them turn up with a track weapon to get their name out there a little better perhaps amongst track fans.

When i was watching you go round Keith, you certainly didnt hang about on that corner, some times you did look a bit slow, but the view point makes all cars look slow, yourself, Marcus and Rob gave the tintop boys a good run for their money.... the Escort Cozzy may have been one rung too far to get, but he was stupidly quick out of the corners.

I did actually manage to catch and overtake the Escort Cossie once......

...he may have been on a cool down lap....but hey, I still overtook him and it sounds good ;)

It was quite nice to see I was quicker than a lot of cars in the corners but just didn't have the power for the straights, letting the 911 and Evo's passed on the straights then actually catching them up in the corners before they left me for dead on the straight bits again.

And same as Keith, that first corner is a sod. Even worse when your ballast runs off with an irish man for a few laps and leaves you alone in the car you lift the inside wheel and it all goes wrong....

You cant include passing him in the pits... thats just not fair

The cossie was exceptionally fast but i reckon each corner of that car cost more than mine did in total so we'll disregard that one, the two caterhams were fast too but they were R400's.............. Either way i'm happy with my stealth pinto's performance but still need that extra umph for the straights, hope to rectify that for next year!!

Wilwoods with mintex 1144 pads are awesome, lost count how many times i closed the gap on the car infront at the "wiggler chicane" with late braking, no fade, no noise, no fuss just strong bite every time-best money i've spent!!

That 1st corner is a good test of the cars ability to change direction quickly, and you can brake quite late on entry. My car seems to like it if I trail the brake on turn-in a little. It was totally different on slicks as the rear seemed glued to the track on exit.

I need more BHP
