On my first setup I modified the Sierra throttle cable so as to keep the pedal end ferule

and used a propriatery choke cable

Now I have cable made from a universal kit off eBay, has all the bits you will need

Choke is wired to the bonnet release leaver on the Sierra column

As said push bike brake cables work great and cheap. You need fuel resistant silicon joiner hoses and thin jubilee clips. wide ones will not hold the silicon tube onto the carb. Mine would work off in a short time.

For the fuel pump a motor bike one is ideal. Bike carbs run at about 3 psi. The bike carbs have a built in switch so they run to 3 psi and switch off. But it as low to the tank as possible and as close to the tank as possible. One off a 900cc or bigger will do.
