Master And Servo Unit

ji i seem to have air leak from where the master cylinder meets the servo any one any ideas apart from change the servo and master cylinder?

Seam to remember the repair kit for that type of servo had the front seal and i think a air filter and that was it.

Air leak as in air in the brakes or non functioning servo?

non functioning servo every time i push the brake pedal i can hear and feel air leak from inbetween the servo and master cylinder

Ok master unbolts from the servo

If there is a leak its the servo seal

Also check vac feed

If servo vac side has a problem you would have very heavy brakes.

The air side is usually a sealed chamber but if venting to air no real problem as its the 14.7psi over the diaphragm that gives assistance

You should be able to just replace the servo drum

cheers snapper its what i thought that the servo would be problem but managed to locate one localy only £15 so went and got it today just need to fit it now and then should have brakes again.
