Mt75 Quickshift Linkage

Hi All,

Has anyone removed the GBS MT75 quickshift linkage?

I can't see whether the shaft that connects to the gearbox selector input is connected.

Is it a twist fit, push, detent or whatever. Both the quickshift shaft and selector input on the gearbox appear similar diameters.

The easy part are the 4 bolts securing it to the gearbox!!

I need to remove this in order to remove the flange section of my propshaft, as it pulled out of the sliding joint while removing!

Oh, and just in time as well because the UJ at the gearbox end was very 'wet' with grease, (seals gone?). The output seal from the gearbox is dry as a dry thing, so the UJ can be the only culprit. It's the original RH supplied propshaft.

Bailey Morris shaft with sealed UJ's methinks!

Thanks in advance

Al

The GBS one I fitted is held in place with a three quarter spring clip with a pin going through the centre.

( a bit like the Euro symbol € )

It should just push out and the parts have a hard rubber inner which stops rattle etc.

It was a tad difficult to fit :)

Simon.
