Should be lighter not heavier ......larger wheel....more leverage. Glad it feels solid. My wheel has still not turned up.... :-(

Well my wheel finally arrived today

Got the old one removed and the new hub and removal boss all bolted in place.

Its a fantastic Difference, and almost like having power steering after so long driving with something the size of a button.

Another great mod.

Have to say I do feel a little bit of play in the quick release boss, but having been for a couple of drives today, its not something that is apparent when driving, just when you grab the wheel and jiggle.....

I will keep my eye on though as I wonder if it will go worse over time.....

Looks better than the older unit

Hi, cold be a good idea fitting this one http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/copy-of-quick-release-steering-wheel-boss

I'm thinking of welding this quick release adapterdirectly to the column without the standar mountney boss and using an adaptor to fit my 13" wood steering. With wet weather gear I'm unable to sit in the car and I really hate the 11" steering wheel. Could be considered cut the column to put the steering near to cockpit removing stalks and cover?

Thank you for answer

HI

HAVE LOOKED A YOUR POST 25.

DO I HAVE TO REMOVE THE ORIGINAL MOUNTNEY BOSS ADAPTER OFF.

THEN FIT THE BOSS AND THE QUICK RELEASE.

THEY ARE NOT ON EBAY ANYMORE JUST CHECKED.

THANKS
