Size Of Hole For Gear Stick

Can anyone tell me the size of the hole I need to make for my gear stick. The car is a Zero GT with a zetec , mt75 and the Gbs gear lever kit. Any advice would be gratefully received.

No real definitive size of hole, but start small(ish) and take it from there. Mine's about 4" lengthways and about 3" across. (MT75 with GBS short shift).

All you need to ensure is that you don't restrict the full travel of the gearlever.

The hole will be larger than you think you need though

In order to get it to fit, I had to put the gearbox in 3rd so that the panel would slide into place. It is still a tricky fit.
