Cortina Bottom Balljoint Taper

Does anyone know what the Sierra stub has to be drilled to to get the Cortina balljoint to mate correctly with it?

it has to reamed out with a taperd reamer to fit

I had the same problem, I looked around at one of the shows to see who used the cortina ball joint on sierra hub. Guess what, its RS jigtec, they do exchange hubs with the Cortina taper about £30 each if I remember right. A lot easier than finding a machine shop to do it or finding the correct reamer.

I got someone to do it, just need to know what size.... and as RS Jigtec are no longer would be a tad hard!

Hi the seirra upright is 10 degrees inclusive don't bother reaming it get the balljionts turned to match the don't were out that often and it's less hasel to set up on a lathe than on a mill to do the job properly.
