Pinto Unleaded Cylinder Head

When I bought our latest project from e-bay it came with 2 engines. The one I am not using was seized and the bores were all rusted up.

 

The bottom end looks like scrap but the cylinder head looks like it could be refurbed OK.

 

I have stripped it down and given it a good clean and inspection.

 

There is some pitting on the valve seats as can been seen in the photos. I am no expert so not sure how good/bad it is.

 

It is now loosely reassembled but definitely needs to be stripped again and rebuilt properly.

If I dont get the 2l engine I will have mick will let you no but if any one else wants it before the 15 oct let them have it as I wont no till then

The block is also available if you want it. I am pretty sure it is a 205 (I will ckeck tonight) but as I said it was seized up. looks like it was sat for a long time with water in the bores.
