Oil Pressure Sender Wiring

hi im after some help once again with the wiring. i have the oil presure sender for the zetec and will be using the emerald ecu and smiths gauges not sure if the sender is for the guage or ecu but have fitted it and have a plug to go onto it that it came with, and need to wire it into the loom its the standard gbs loom, the sender has 3 wires and the muti plug on the loom has 4 lol can anyone help me with what wires go where ?

The emerald does not need to see the oil pressure, only the dash gauge does.

Most smiths senders have a single wire so I am guessing that the sender you have is for the ecu.

typically 3 wires are

brown positive supply often 5V from ECU

Black signal to ECU

Blue 0V from ECU

thanks for that any ideas on what colour fromt the sender matches up to what colour on the loom if that makes sence
