Seatbelt Bolts Iva

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if these are acceptable seatbelt bolts for the IVA:

 

They came as part of a lap belt kit we bought from Securon for a machine in work.

Seatbelt bolts have different markings, some none at all

Testers are familiar with the

I past with similar, had 2 dots where you have dimples

S denotes Securon

I would be surprised if Securon supplied a wrong grade bolt with a seat belt but they should have made markings to some standard. Probably imperial and should have six radial lines as standard. I suggest you ask Securon to provide you with written evidence of the bolt strength or swap out for bolts that are acceptably marked just in case the IVA tester hasn't seen those marks before.

Lack of markings on the bolts that came with the harness were one of my first IVA failures, they are hot on these.

 

If you can get a document from the supplier confirming the tensile strength you should be fine, but I found it easier to buy new 8.8 stamped metric bolts.

 

I incorrectly thought you had to use imperial 7/16 UNF bolts but metric stamped 8.8 or 10.9 ones were fine.
