Cooling System 2Lt Dohc.

Hello to all. I am after a new or good used thermostat housing for my ford 2lt Dohc. I was a little to heavy handed and broke the plastic on the small bleed connector that feeds the small pipe on the header tank.

In a similar case I drilled out the plastic and glued in some microbore copper pipe.

4mm outer copper pipe 2.5mm bore.

pipe was from scrap bin at work.

Araldite worked very well.

vehical ran for 6 years until scrapped for body rot.

Thanks for that Ian. That could be my way out if I can't find one. Pipe was stuck but pulled off very easy taking the plastic with it. It was a naughty word moment.
