Hi. Just looking at doing an oil change. What oil does the engine take it is best for it

Look on the web for the correct spec.

If it has been run on fully synthetic, stay with that.

If run on semi synthetic, either will do but recommend fully synthetic.

Safest bet is to stay with manufacturers recommended spec, but not necessarily brand.

A renown brand is advised though.

Always put a sticker in a prominent place to show what you are running on.

10W/40 semi-synthetic seems to be the way to go. Works for me.
