Hazard Warning Lights

Normal indicators are OK, but when the hazard warning button is pressed it remains illuminated and the indicators do not work. I guess this uses the same flasher unit as the indicators (haven't checked the diagram yet). Any ideas?

 

P.S. I got caught out in a thunderstorm on Wednesday so it is possible that water got in somewhere.

I had that happen on mine, turned out to be a fuse which had correded contacts (I think!), Worth checking the electrics with some wd40 to make sure all contacts are clean.

Hi Alasdair, I had a similar problem too, it seemed to be a combination of dirty contacts at the hazard switch and the cowling rubbing on the button so it couldn't pop up freely. It is in a great position for collecting water and dust!

Sorted. It was a bad contact with the fuse. Thanks.
