Even the guy selling them thought they would go for £150+ no more progress and I'm away next week. But I am aiming to have a rolling chassis and engine/bodywork done by the end of the year, ready for SVA next spring (hope I can keep that schedule anyway!) There is now wya I'm gonna be on the road this year, so may as well take my time and do it properly.

I thought I'd done well with a set of 5 14" pepperpots, all newly blasted and coated and 5 brand new tyres (still with the injection mould hairy bits) for £75 but that looks like an all time good deal.

Picked them uptoday, wow - monsters!

Going to make slow turning a bit harder but should look good if I can get them to fit, work out about the same size as my 13" so hopefully speedo will show slighlty slow for SVA.
