I have a pair of Intatrim Odyssey seats in my Series III. I bought these at Stonleigh but Intatrim advertise in the Kit Car magazines. They fit very well, the drivers seat has adjustable seat runners so that the wife can drive the car occasionally.

I also had problems with the top of the screen being in my eyeline ( I am 6'3") so I raised the complete windscreen by 3 inches and covered the gap between the bottom of the screen and the scuttle with a piece of sheet steel. I had to extend the windscreen supports to mount the door hinges as well.

Hope this helps.

Nigel.

They look lots better than mine , although mine are very comfortable they would fit a 2b but not the 3a . i'll have to save for them though

Thanks Riz

The wet weather gear still fitted without any adjustment. The doors had to be raised by moving the hinges further up the supports as there were gaps between the top of the doors and the hood.

The wipers park OK (as in the photo), I am using a Mini mechanism with Mini wiper arms and cut down blades. By bending the arms I have managed to get the sweep correct .

Nigel i have measured my sidescreens i can only lift them 1 and 1/2" then they would miss the side of the tub. so i will try the seats first, same as yours and Rizlas . at Europa specialised spares Burton on trent. £70 cheaper than MNR.

then i'll lift the screen if needed. Thanks for the help and pics

Hi,

If it not to much hassle please PM me with the outcome of your seat change and any interesting information as this is something I plan to do either at the tail end of this winter or during the next, want the summer free to play.

Thanks

Aaron

I'm in the middle of getting new seats for my mark 3, as I have the same problems as Lardy with the new seats that I bought from Donington.

I'm getting them from motordrive in Radcliff near Manchester. They are very friendly, and I took the car over to them last week the try out a seat "shell"

I'm going for the clubman seats, as the others are way too expensive, the good thing about the clubman seat, is that they make it in various widths, so I'm getting a wide one for the drivers side (ie. for my fat arse!) and a standard one for the passenger side which, as we all know, is physically narrower.

They are first of all going to make the seat "shells" and I will then trim them as neccessary to make them fit, then they will cover them (in whatever I wish, I'm having cloth with wear patches strategically placed)

They will measure /photograph the shells etc, so that they can reproduce similar seats to fit the Mark 3 /3A should anyone be interested.

If you're interested, give them a ring to say that you're waiting for the results of my seats etc.

how about these ones? As fitted recently to my 2B - Cobra "7's" from Europa in Burton. On runners too and fit like a glove. Have recently done a 200 mile round trip and no probs comfort-wise - very snug!

Stuart i'm going to burton to try the interim and cobras but the 2b has more width than a 3 . the tunnel in the middle is wider in the 3, the interim seats have a flat bottom piece which will take any ar*e size but hold ansupport back and ribs, like Rizlas and niduncan's.
