Hi There!

I have an auto sparks wiring loom with my robin hood 2B I am trying to wire up the Speedo but the multi pin plug does not fit the donor Speedo, even though the plug has the ford emblem stamped on it. Can anyone tell me if they have had this issue and how they resolved it, I am sure it will fit a ford Speedo but not sire what it is!

Thanks Steve Wilson

^_^ I also had a autosparks loom supplied with my 2B but I also had a new speedo supplied by RHE, so maybe they can tell you which seirra it came off as all the connections seem different on most speedos, and if anyone has a capri speedo plug I could do with one, it has 6 connections on one side and 7 on the other side, regards Graham

hi my autosparks loom came supplied with the instrument pod and column stalk switches by robinhood engineering and i am attaching a photo of the pod which comes from a ford escort as did the column switches.

Was the Mk 5 Escort. From late 94 onwards. Be careful, on some of the later models Uncle Henry thought it would be a good idea to replace the rev counter with a "door open" indicator.... twat! :)

If you use the switch gear (actually it's a neater setup than the Sierra stalks if you do..) then you have to modify the plastic bung thingy on the steering column stalk to make it cancel the indicators.
