Thought I'd better ask since Graham got on so well last time...

 

Anyone got a half decent MT75 gearbox off a Sierra twincam lying about? I think the input shaft bearing on mine is knackered. It makes more noise than the exhaust, and I think it's about to explode...

I hope they are as kind to you as they were to me.

My new gearbox works smooth as ......

I even did the Classic Ford mag item - threw away the black MT75 gearlever mounting frame and mounted the gear lever ball joint across the tubes - solid !!

The final verdict was the outer halfshaft universal

 

Please check yours too - Its a really nasty noise when you take your foot off !!
