  1. This is my Robin Hood 2B Kit Car that I have part built to an advanced state. The power plant is a very sweet running 1800cc Ford Pinto Engine with a 5 speed Sierra Gearbox and Diff. Unfortunately due to moving house I don’t have the time or space to finish the project. The tubular steel frame is standard Gloss Black. All the body panels are in Stainless Steel. The GRP parts consist of the Boot Cover, Nose Cone, Front Mudguards and two pair of rear Mudguards one pair are standard Robin Hood the second pair are after market the wider ones are shone in the photographs. I have receipts for over £1.600 pounds worth of new parts that I have bought for the build so it wont take much to complete the Kit Car just a bit of time to put it together. Almost all Nuts are Nylock and the Bolts are made of 8.8 strength Steel or higher to comply with the SVA. The Kit Car will need an SVA Test. Listed are just some of the Brand New parts fitted to the Kit Car:- Battery. Brakes back and front. All Brake Pipes, Fuel Lines and Brake Hoses. Starter Motor. Mountney 11in Steering Wheel. Vicky Green Wiring Harness. 2xSports Bucket Racing Seats. 2xFour Point Rally Seat Belts. 4x205/50 R15 TOYO Tyres. 4x7x15 Minilight Design Alloy Wheels (just legal for mudguards). Stainless Steel Fuel Tank. Some other parts included with the Kit:- Twin 40 Webber Carbs with Inlet Manifold, Air Filter and brand new Tuning Manuel. 1 Original and 1 new Standard Ford Sierra Speedometer. GRP Boot Cover. All Lights Included. Four Branch Exhaust Manifold. All Remaining Factory Panels Included with the kit. Some Panels shown In the Pictures are only placed in position and will need permanent fixings. Windscreen with British Kite Mark and Frame. Donor V5 Present. More or less every thing is there to finish the Kit Car including original Robin Hood build CDs, Metal, Nuts, Bolts, various Clips and Manuals. The Kit Car can be herd running but it can NOT be driven as it is not road legal yet. If you have any questions or queries please call Ken on Mobile 07801894401 or Email kenbiker@googlemail.com and I will be happy to help. I am asking £2,500 ono for the Kit Car as it will be an easy project to complete for the Summer. ( PRICED FOR A QUICK SALE) It is definitely worth a look.

  9. I am looking for some advice on wheel and tyre size for my 2B with sliding pillar front suspension, rear arches are wider than normal with 100mm from the rear axle to outside of rear wheel arch, front mudguard width is 200mm. I was thinking 7 x 13 Minilites or 7 x 15 Minilites with 205/50 x ? Tyres. Any advice would be appreciated. Ken

  16. Hi all has anyone fitted an S7 four branch exhaust manifold to a 2B and what modifications were made to the manifold or car. I have been told by GBS the S7 is a slimmer chassis and they didn't think it would fit. Anyone know what a four branch for a 2B would cost. Regards Ken
  17. Will a S7 2lt Pinto four branch exhaust manifold fit a 1800 SOHC 2B Robin Hood regards Ken
  18. Hi all Can any one help with a diagram of how the sliding pillar on a 2B is constructed or explain the correct way it is built. Is there two roller bearings one top and one bottom as I am not sure if all the parts on my suspension are there. Regards Ken
  19. Hi can anyone help I am fitting a Handbrake Assembly to my 2B I am trying to narrow the handbrake cables to fit inside the tunnel. I have crossed the cables over using a double pulley would this be OK with the IVA test, see pick. Would it be better to fit Fuel and Brake lines on top of the centre chassis members or on the floor pan to avoid the Handbrake Assembly bearing in mind the IVA test, see pick. Regards Ken
  20. Hi Tony the rear suspension was already fitted to the car before I got it, there is no movement in the springs and it is all secure. The clearance between the ground and sump is 4 inches 100 mm and the clearance between lowest part of the rear cross member is 5 inches 130 mm. The rear suspension is well clear of the driveshaft. Ken
  21. Hi Tony will the standard rear suspension in the pick pass the IVA test. Ken
  22. I hope this has worked? let me know. Ken
  23. Hi Steve I think I have tried all ways to upload the picks with Photobucket but it is not happening, I don’t think I will bother with pictures on this site unless my daughter can help???? Ken
  24. Hi all Sorry for not getting back sooner, due to work and trying to find a camera with less pixels for the pictures I have now solved all the problems. From the pictures I was sent it is definitely a 2B. I have attached two pictures one of the front suspension to confirm it is a 2B and one of the rear, will this rear setup pass the SVA or would it be better fitting coil over’s to the rear or all round. Still working on the hand brake but the engine now runs after about 18 months not being turned over. Regards Ken Sorry still cant upload pictures can anyone help?
