Update from the wife

 

Took the kit out for a spin and it is running worse than ever. Its taking ages to change out of the first gear you either sit about 3000r and it will change after a few mins or take it round to 5000r then it changes gear but the bike carbs are coughing and sputtering. It’s hard to even get over 40mph. The brakes are spongy and it is nearly overheating going straight up to 100 where as last week it was happy at 90.

 

At the min there is no way this is going to Stoneleigh.

And before anyone even says yes I agree needs a manual gear box and bin the servo

Mr nice welder man is going to repair it for me Dean has to take it off tonight ( five min job im sure )

The moral of the story is its too bloody low !!!!

Dean just told me its the gear box sump as its an automatic. Guess he will have to take it off so not in his good books today hopefully a bbq and beer will help. Thanks

Ok really naughty wife grounded the car on its first day out and put a hole in the sump. Managed to get it home after it left most of its oil on the trip. Any tips on the best way to repair it. Thanks in advance

Yes the nightclub in the tunnel has been cancelled due to a young lad died but the event is still on. We missed out last yr but want to go this yr. Was just wondering who else is going

Last yr was fab the band and things for the kids was great. We have a caravan so dont mind paying that bit more even better if electric but understand at most rallies you dont get that. Hope you can find somewhere and fingers crossed for the same dates.

Oh No what sad news I loved Hollowell last year was really looking forward to going again, Hope you can find somewhere else we must have a yr end bash was so much fun last yr.

its me who needs who the servo as im often looking in the mirror putting on my lipstick and forget to brake. Maybe i need to test drive one of these non servo cars !!
