  1. I made one for my S3 using an american tow hitch that fits in a receiver which makes it removable;

    I used a sheet of 5mm steel that bolted on the boot floor and also extends onto the tunnel and it bolted there as well. A length of square tube was welded onto the sheet and is the receiver tube:

    The tow hitch had to be bought from the states:

    I use it to tow a small trailer and a trailer tent:

    It works well and the sheet of steel also reinforces the boot floor so it does not flex when the car is jacked up using the diff.

  2. hi everyone im new on here and not sure about how to use forums but here goes. im about to buy a robin hood yellow and silver in colour the reg is B471 TEC and i believe it was once owned by a member of this club so im looking for any information or history on this car. many thanks
