Thanks Hawknorth I probably agree, just finding a very thin type of Pancake filter or cutting a hole in the bonnet, which I don't want to do! Maybe a mesh type filter that I have on my Triumph bike?

Hi All, I have a S6 Barrel back with a 1600 pinto and it looks like a Cortina\Ford carb, but it doesn't have a filter on the carb and there's very little room to fit one, between the bonnet, is it okay to run it without a filter? Thanks Phil

Hi Bob Thanks for the photos, I'm sure the rear axle, on my R/H is Cortina and the wheels are from an early Ford Focus, and the front axle set up, is a bit of a mongrel.

Thanks Guys, I wasn't sure if R/H suggested or dictated what donor car is used for each kit, but I'm finding out that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe that's why it's a Q plate, its been built from may different cars! Just a real pain to get spares, if I don't know what car I'm looking for.
