    We have been to The Dirty Duck today and driven around a few of the local roads. I would suggest the best route especially if you are towing a caravan, is to leave the A607 towards Denton and go through the village and head for Woolsthorpe. When you arrive at Woolsthorpe, turn right at the crossroads, the turning for the pub and campsite is 0.5 miles on the right, there is a sign pointing to the Rutland Arms now called the Dirty Duck. I have placed the food orders and tables for 8.00pm. If anyone cannot make it for that time please call me on 07736836692 so I can inform the pub. We will be onsite by 3.00pm. We are looking forward to catching up with all you guys.

    Derek, myself and better half’s went to the Dirty Duck and sampled the food and it was very good. I have provisionally booked 10 places for the Friday evening (13th) at 7.30pm There is also a band on on the Sunday evening if anyone is staying. I have attached a menu For The Dirty Duck, if anyone would like to join us Friday evening please let me know ASAP along with your choice of food, The pie is either Steak and Ale or chicken leek and ham and I will let them know in advance.

    I have looked at the options for the run out on the Saturday, and due to a bike meet of 250-300 people at the aviation museum, I will plan on going to the bubbles car museum https://www.bubblecarmuseum.co.uk/. This is approximately 45 miles. There is no need to book we can just turn up, this is assuming we are all capable

    Thanks to the Club and committee, we are putting a BBQ on Saturday evening. Sharon and myself will be testing the food shortly at the Dirty Duck, if it’s ok I will post the menu as we will eat there on the Friday evening and would welcome your company.
