Glad someone asked.
Waited at the car park untill 11:15 then in a convoy of one went round my idea of the route.
I have never seen the sea so far into the land at Southport, not a single sign of sand, sea was trying to get over the wall to the north of Southport.
At Crosby the sea was washing right up to the car park with lots of rubble on the tarmac.
The heads of another place by Gormley were showing through the surf.
You missed a memoriable trip but I know that my weather gear mostly works.
My Ozee suit was more than up to the conditions. https://www.ozee.co.uk/
Look forward to meeting everyone in the flesh.
We should have gone on Sunday.
Ian
Sorry to hear the weather was bad, I’d of loved to make it out myself, no luck tho mines defeating me, hopefully it’ll be fixed for the new year….. hopefully use will all be on the zoom meeting

I may have it over recovered to your workshop, got the car mechanically sound…. Well hopefully as I’m not professional, the wiring just seems to be one nightmare after another it’s defeating me to be honest

Get your car over to me at the weekend and we can work on your issues. Do not want you to miss the run.
Regards
Steve
Very grateful for the offer, also I’ll still pop over either way, I’m hoping to have it fixed before then, as it stands the problem would be now driving it and cuts out, I’ve taken a bit of sand paper to all my earth wires, tried to clean them up a bit, fingers crossed that works..The joys of motoring

A friend in the lotus7 club recently fitted electrical heating to his seats.
Those low flying types need to harden up.
I was going to fit a heater in mine out of a taxi….. oh and some wet weather gear

Hopefully mine will be ready in time, probably need some thermals tho

Good morning all.
To further the Zoom team meeting. Subject to any data protection issues required by the club, to get the Northwest group chat I will need the following:-
- An e-mail address to send you an invitation.
- A group agreed time day that the group call will go out. When I get this information again subject to the club and your permission the concept will be set up. It is your club your voice I am here to support..
I’ll send you my email via a PM, anytime after 17:00 will be good for me, let’s see what the others can do

For your delight and edification I have uploaded an extract from an EXMO build video (cf offer from Brumster). In this extract, the godfather of RHE demonstrates, in his own inimitable style, how to remove scratches and blemishes from GRP. Eleven minutes of bliss ?.

Both sent me the same video

Good morning all, Here is a consideration which can happen now. If anyone would like to start a zoom meeting in the first instant so we can put a face to a name and grow the group. I have a zoom account and if this sits with the group I will make it happen. If you are not up for it and want a face to face meeting then we will start that up in January. Your Club, Your Region. Your say.
Regards Steve
I’m not good with technology….. I’d give zoom a good go tho, got to be worth a try, just trying to get everyone to agree on a time
-
Also like to add I’ll be a regular at monthly meets and events

Hi all, thank you for the recognition of my attempts to organise meetings in the past. I can't change the past but can look to the future for a better new period. As mentioned please do not hesitate to contact me; for my part if I can establish some sort of appetite to grow our Northwest group and strengthening it by monthly meetings I would be more than delighted to do so.
Steve P.
Hopefully this is the start of something good

Il keep an eye out on the forum to see where we decided to do the meet up.

Looks fresh….. I’ve been giving my 2b a complete overhaul, it’s a long slow process, hopefully you’ll be ready over the winter for next year, I think we could get a good regular meeting going ….. hopefully your not a united fan, or they’ll be some banter going one here
