  5. http://community.rhocar.org/index.php?showtopic=3348link I don't know if this link works but there was a post on fitting the handbrake on the tunnel top which included some pics. Hope it helps
  6. Kieran Sounds good to me, put me down for one. They must be better than the ubiquitous catering van ones. Robbie I'll PM you with my details
  7. Terry Many thanks - yes you passed the test on the meet time !!! If the weather good it will be a nice run out and a reason to jacked up the rear springs. Robbie
  8. I can't fine any details of the meet on the 30 May on the Southern Hoods site. Can you give any more info like pub name and when? Robbie
  9. I have a wish bone 2B with rear coil over's and i have a slight problem of the bottem grounding out more than expected. Of course i blaime it on the *bleep* bumpy british roads! :gdit: But what height do you recomend the rear should be off the ground. (from end of side pannel to ground where the rear wing meets). And as pic shows i know have a wedged shaped nut. Robbie
  10. Eddie, i am an engineer myself and my son is just about to become an engineering student and we have had great fun thoughout the past year buildinga s/s 2B. It does take slight 'tweaking' to get the whole kit finished but you will get alot of help along the way. We managed to complete ours for about 4k ish, but we did go for wishbone front suspension which i recomend. I will also try to get to newark. If you put your location in your profile you may have some members near by who are willing to show off their creation. Robbie
  11. Here's a pic of how i fitted the coolman rad, we had to take cuts out of the sides of the rad so it would fit (nothing major) and made up some handed brakets to hold it and i haven't had a prob. P.s that is the fan that came with the 2B kit. With a nice red cowling! Robbie
  12. I as a Robbin Hood owner and a RHOCAR member have found this board very good and have thoughally enjoyed some of the post and comments made, and believe the club is run very proffesionally but i thing i have picked up on at shows is you don't tend to find much communication between 'hoodies'. I am not aimed to offend anyone with this post but it may be an ideal that people should put name badges on there cars (like joel did at stonely) so that anyone who liked the look of something on that car, can just get home go onto this board and look up the member and then find out the details (start a post) etc... Don't want to get any ferther involved but thats my idea? Robbie
  13. Year, I have one of those coolman rads in my 2B which i picked up on 11th Jan 03 has worked a treat faired in with the electric fan. Wouldn't change it Ill post a pic 2morrow Robbie
  14. If im free, ill be there. Robbie
  15. Try Graham Sykes i have seen them advertised quite regulary in kit car mags and my son got a quote off them. Worth a try?
  16. Err! i forgot to mention that i have the wider wings so i didn't have to cut anything out of the grp.
  17. A pic is worth a thousand words? I pritty much agree with every one else when it comes to fitting the braket, but all i did was take massif slits out of the end of the multi bend tube and shove it into the braket, and then in the kit you are given another bit of tube which fits over the top and hides the mess of the two tubes fitting together. Hope this helps Robbie (p.s my brake pipe misses the braket)
  18. From my experience i found that tifosi were cheaper for s/s rivits and that screw fix were beter value for s/s nuts and bolts. Robbie

I don't live a milion miles away from there, so i might see you there. What time do you 'sussex' hoddies tend to meet up? Robbie
  20. 9 thousand dollars and it hasn't met its reserve Its about £5500 with a one point six and sliding pillock suspension. Rizla you're got to admit thats good!
  21. Made the gaiter myself out of the left over bit of vinyl that came in the kit, and brought the gaiter surround from europa. robbie
