Sorry if this has been covered before. I have a 2.0l pinto with a Weber 32/36 standard carb. I have fitted an electric fuel pump. 1.Do I need to keep the sierra pressure regulator ? 2. Do I still need the return feed to the tank ? The tank has a output and a return at the sender. If I need a return where does it come from.

Any help appreciated

Thanks for the info. Just to clarify, the electric pump I fitted was for carb models ie low pressure not injection, if that makes a difference.

Do I just blank of the return at the sender unit at the tank ?

You can just blank off the return at the tank. However if you think you might go fuel injection at some point in the future you could run a return line from the engine bay at this stage in the build when it is fairly easy. Doing it in a couple of years time after the car is fully built is much harder. Then just blank it off until you need to use it or forever.
