Iv changed the original lights for smaller ones street fights off a motor bike .My cars failed mot duo to the dipped beam not eliminating bright enough on the left side the right is fine the bulb lights up but is just not as bright as each other side sights are fine can anyone recommend anything the old lights worked fine before

Sounds like a bad earth, could be in the plug, or the earth terminal to body or at any connection in between, i assume you have tried a different bulb just to eliminate that.

Twin filiament bulbs? Check you have wired the left one correctly. As per the diagram below. If you don't get the earth on the correct terminal then either dip or main will have the two filiaments in series and thus not very bright and poor pattern.

Yes they are twin filianent bulbs checked the earth is fine must be the bulb I can't see any difference but the mot man thinks their is 😡
