That's not CO2 the ped has got Nitrous on it as well.... If it is a race motor revving to 23,000 RPM with a nitrous kit on it could easily be capable of this.....

 

If you've driven a fast 100cc go kart you'd know what I mean, they will easily do the quarter mile as fast or faster than most cars...

I can't believe that its real after all the kid does not even seem to be hanging on for grim death, which I am sure you would be if you were getting one of these spindly things to go that fast

I dunno.... having done 52 mph down the side of the alps on a moutain bike over a rock bed I'm more inclined to believe this..

I think an 11 sec quarter is feasible, a high revving 2 stroke motor produces a lot of power and the combined weight of sccoter and rider is probably less than 70kg! On the other hand that must mean a terminal speed around 100mph, which is just plain terrifying, especially with the lack of protection, also the camera movements do look a bit jerky. I like the wheelie bar on the back!

2 stroke go kart can achieve that sort of terminal & they only rev to 1800 or so....

 

Physically it's possible, whether this is fake or not I dunno...
