Scotmac, just part of my odd sense of humour on the board. I only noticed as I have recently changed to a slower broadband connection to save money and your avatar is still loading when I have finished reading the page! I didn't know a picture that small could be so big in byte terms. I would think you could resize it to 20000 without loosing any definition.

I've just copied it and opened it in photosuite. It a high definition pic of a crate of lightweight on a forklift. 500+k. So thats how it was shipped. Interesting.

Just scaled it back by a couple of magnitudes. Let me know if you are still having trouble.

 

BTW, IIRC, didn't we have a thread on how to get a good hi-speed connection in the UK inexpensively???? Maybe you should take a look at it...not that i am helping!!! ;-) Sorry.
